Mission/Purpose
The Board of Trustees has the following powers with details provided in their by-laws:
- Power to elect officers
- Power to borrow money
- Power to appoint executive committee
- Execution of instruments
- Power to approve and appoint new positions
- Power to require bonds
Membership
The Brunswick & Topsham Water District Board of Trustees consists of six (6) members, with four (4) from Brunswick and chosen by the Brunswick Council, and two (2) selected by the Topsham municipal officers.
Meeting Schedule
2nd Thursday of each month, at 5:30 p.m. at 266 River Road in Topsham.
Annual Reporting
The Water District Board of Trustees will present to the Town Council on an annual basis.
