Parks & Recreation
Welcome to Brunswick Parks and Recreation!
We're so glad you're here! As you get to know your way around - or maybe you've been using our programs and parks forever - you'll see that we're growing! And we're taking you with us, Hooray!
Brunswick Parks & Recreation is dedicated to enriching our community by caring for 66 parks and public spaces, 2,600 acres of land, and 31 miles of trails. We create opportunities for connection, wellness, and play through nearly 100 programs and 6 major community events each year. Our commitment is to deliver excellent programs, maintain beautiful parks, and enrich the life of Brunswick residents along with those who live, work in and visit the region.

Our Mission
We seek to provide high quality facilities and program opportunities for leisure time activities for all Brunswick residents. We are committed to delivering excellence in the programs and services offered by the department.
A Recognized Leader
The Department is proud to have been recognized as a Sports Illustrated Good Sports Community as well as a Magnet Center for Quality Sports by the National Recreation and Park Association.
In addition, our Androscoggin River Bicycle Path has been awarded the East Coast Greenway Alliance Trail of Merit Award, and Brunswick has been recognized by the American League of Bicyclists as Maine’s first Bicycle-Friendly Community, as featured in the July 2010 AARP Bulletin. The Brunswick Recreation Center received the Facility of Merit Award from the Maine Recreation and Parks Association in 2025.
Program Registration
We accept most major credit/debit cards at our 220 Neptune Drive location for program registrations during normal business hours. Or you can register online.
